[ms office - 2007] Outlook notifications

Ive created a load of rules to sort my incoming mail into folders as it arrives, eg an Edugeek folder for forum notification emails. However, outlook has stopped giving the popup notification of a new email for all mails that arrive that match the new rules for sorting into folders. Mail that just goes to the inbox still gives a popup notification

 

Is there any way to force popup notification of all new emails?

Per rule I believe - got to Tools - Rules and alerts

 

you can then shift-select all rules and select change rule - 'display in the new item alert window'

That kinda works, it makes a whole window appear now. I was just meaning the little tray notification thing that appears normally.

You could change the rule itself, on the page to adjust the action check 'display desktop alert'
