Right, you'll have to bear with me here because there is only a limited amount of info i can give you.

Right "consultant" (long story) comes in and installs a new HDD in server. Boots it back up everythings fine. I think then when he got into the disk managment something wasnt right so he rebooted to get into scsi setup screens.

Basically im now left with a server that doesnt boot without some sort of interaction. When booting the server stops booting and i then have to click legacy boot to get it to continue as normal if i wait too long it goes into this EFI console and stops, .....its basically like its doesnt know where to boot from unless i point it to the legacy setup.

This has been like this for about a month now, waiting for him to fix it but getting fed up of waiting for someone else. Ok, its not causing any problems, but im running out of room and its just irritating. But being a new NM and slightly nervous about doing anything myself..

Try going into the bios and looking for a screen which has the boot order on it, you will probably see EFI Sheel at the top of the list try using the +/- keys to move it down or move the hard drive or raid array to the top.

Good luck! :p
