This question could be described as a Joomla question as opposed to being related to the Edugeek packages (fantastic, by the way).

 

I am looking at eXtplorer as a solution for file access on my server. We do not have FTP set up. Currently, I access the server through our LAN when necessary. But, I have to be within our LAN to do this. I would like access from home.

 

I have installed this (standalone) on a test site set up with ssl. I also added code to make it run over ssl, and it seems to be working.

 

My question: Do any of you have experience with this resource or thoughts about using it?
