Geoff Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Another tale of woe from Westfield. As you may be aware, there are currently issues with parts of the email system used by schools. These have been traced to a hardware failure which is being addressed. It is hoped that normal service will be resumed at some point during Friday 16 January 2009.
jcollings Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I wonder if that's why it's all running a bit badly in Kendal too?
localzuk Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Hmm... interesting, we're having trouble with email in Somerset too. No external emails are getting through - RM server problems.
danrhodes Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 It might be the same issue, can I please point you all to a post I made earlier in the week. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/yorkshire-humberside-grid-learning-yhgfl/28964-yhgfl-email-slowdown.html
Geoff Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 As far as I am aware, this is an internal issue in Lancashire.
pete Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Netlinc managed to not notice two of their mailservers had gone titsup recently until complaints started coming in.
