Hello All,

Sorry i have not been on recently its been a hectic month or so.

I have produced an article on the cheapest option for adding an OS X 10.5 server with remote management. This article tells you how to make an OS X server for no more than £1000.00

Please visit | How-To-Mac

Hope this helps anyone who is unsure on the cost of managing OS X clients.

If anyone has any other articles you wish to have put up feel free to drop me an email or PM.

Thanks,

I searched high and low for the price of the ARD but couldn't find it anywhere on their site. I even did a search for it

I checked on Apples education site and got the price from that. I can't remember for the life of me what we paid for it. Thanks for taking the time to look tho :)

I think in most schools you can expect in most cases their to be more than 10 clients. Plus its not a massive amount to have unlimited clients right?

Never really understood why apple did 10 clients then to unlimited

Hi Ross

You would think so? However when ARD is pointed out to most of the Admins/Teachers I come across - and what it can do - I generally get a blank stare.

Yes I know.

I know of some sites where they have ARD (10 Client or unlimited) and they don't use it. It's still in the box with the cellophane wrapping intact.

Yes I know.

Can you make a well-know phrase or saying from these words?

lead

water

make

drink

can't

horse
