Asset management software from Becta?

Someone just told me that Becta are working on an asset management system due for release around October. I can't find anything on their website about it and I'm in the process of evaluating options. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know so I don't go wasting money on something else.

Yeah, it is a painful site to use. I'm just wondering what they're up to. If they really are working on an asset management system won't they be stepping on a few peoples toes? I didn't think they were supposed to do that!!
