Hi we have just upgraded our smoothwall system to version 2008

 

Now we are having an intermittent problem when we get error message all configured parent caches are currently unreachable.

 

We found the cause of the problem is with the students home page (our school website) so were wondering is possible to cache our website (hosted externally) or to bypass the school site in filter logs

Where is your student homepage? Local or remote?

Would suggest having a word with support. There maybe workarounds - but i'd rather see the problem properly fixed.
