witch Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 We have just replaced an Epson 1100 with an HP 2025 networked machine. All is well EXCEPT for Serif Draw. The HP is not picking up the page settings for a serif picture and is printing in portrait no matter what. Other applications such as Word are fine HP say it is a Serif problem Guess what Serif say!! Anyone help?
witch Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 yes, but that doesnt work - it doesnt overide the printer settings on the server which are set as portrait.
witch Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 It seems to be a function of the HP When you look in the properties, there is a tab called 'finishing' which isn't there on the Epson 1100 we had before. You seem to have to go here and set it as landscape, which is a bit of a pain - the tech teacher really hates me. Luckily I didn't choose the printer, the dep head did!!
k-strider Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 HP make a few different Drivers, PCL and PostScript specifically for the Printer or their Generic / universal HP PCL Postscript driver, you could try a different driver see if that helps
