Norphy Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 From 1st May til 31st July. Thought this was worth mentioning. HP have got a cashback promotion on for printers at the moment. Goes something like this: £75 back for laserjet 1320 series £150 for laserjet 2420/2430 series £200 back for colour laserjet 3800 series £150 back for AIO Laserjet 3390 series £400 back for AIO colour laserjet series There is money back on warranties too. Details are here. Worth considering if you need a printer some time soon.
sahmeepee Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 They've done these cashback offers in the past, but I've always suspected that there's a catch and I'll end up paying full price. I know they're big in America (it's known as a mail-in rebate over there), but they don't seem to have caught on in Blighty. Has anyone taken HP up on a cashback offer? Experiences?
Simcfc73 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I've used the cashback on a couple of 1320's before. Its a pain in the ar$e becuase you have to create a invoice to them and then they credit and then they ask for blood. You don't just get a nice shiny £50 cheque to go towards a new suit.
Vegas Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 HP are also offering the cost (£139) of there 17" TFT back when purchased with their DC7600 desktop and Integrated works center stand. We are seriously considering buying 60+ at a cost per system of £499 but that is with the cash back, which obviously makes them an attractive option. Beofre we do this does anyone have any experience of claiming the money back. I have read through their terms and conditions and it doesn't seem to be a problem but...... Obviously the deal hinges on getting this cash back. Any advice?

I think out of the 5 or so I have done in the past 2 went missing but it was just the £50 cashback offers so I writ it off as I was the only one who knew I was saving money.
Guest Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Also they are offering free 3G data cards with NX6110 Laptops
plexer Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Well I got an email confirming my server rebate has been accepted the other day and they will be sending me a cheque for £250 made out to the school. Ben
Norphy Posted May 11, 2006 Author Posted May 11, 2006 I've not got cashback from them before but I have claimed a free camera. There were no arguements, it got delivered about a month later. The thing is still sitting on my desk at work
Simcfc73 Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Yeah I got a free camera too. HP Photosmart R507. Nice little camera
