MrLudwig Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Hi, One of our feeder primary schools wants a way of turning on the Picture toolbar in Word 2003 for all users by default. I thought there would be a GPO setting for this in the Office 2003 .adm templates, but I can't find any settings controlling the toolbars. Does anyone know if this is even possible, and if so, where the setting is? Thanks
elsiegee40 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 We use mandatory profiles here. We wanted the Drawing toolbar for all pupils. I set it up on the mandatory profile... like in this thread. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows/18661-creating-small-mandatory-profile.html
MrLudwig Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 Thanks elsiegee40. Your suggestion would do the trick, but I was trying to avoid anything too drastic. I don't directly support the primary, and I'm not to sure the person who does could handle the intricacies of creating and implementing a mandatory profile set-up. Also, I would rather avoid getting sucked into implementing a big change on someone else's network. That's why I was hoping for a simple policy setting. But thanks again.
