pete Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I have a Sanyo PLC SE20A lcd projector that's got considerably dimmer of late. I'm thinking it's the bulb, but I was expecting it to go pop like a light bulb. Anyone else seen this? Pete -- who's loathe to spend ~£275 on the wrong part.
Geoff Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Needs a new bulb. If the bulb in it is new then get that returned under warrenty. If a new bulb doesn't fix it then get the projector returned under warrenty.
CyberNerd Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 almost certainly the bulb is on its way out. I recommend Blanka Bimi at forward vision 01189320890 She really knows her Sanyo's and does good prices on SE20 bulbs (£240 IIRC)
MrDylan Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I recomment Universal AV here in Bradford, email Matthew Anderson on [email protected] I get most of my things from there, most recently two replacement Promethean pens at £25 instead of the £45 charged everywhere else!
CyberNerd Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 most recently two replacement Promethean pens at £25 instead of the £45 charged everywhere else! We only payed a tenner for those ! direct from promethean!
MrDylan Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 lol oops. Oh well, not our department, hopefully it'll make them be more careful in the future, I mean we've had a dozen boards for years and never had any break, they have 1 board for a few months and break 2 pens! Should have charged £45.
pete Posted May 9, 2006 Author Posted May 9, 2006 @all cool, thanks. We'll probably be using the guys who provided the kit (I know they keep them in stock and I have a single source).
