Yes but read the terms has to be recyclable desktops or laptops, no screens or anything else and a minimum of 30 machines.

Great if you have that many to dispose of.

Due to an increased tightening of British law ruling and to ensure compliance with the (WEEE) Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive many companies are now looking to help close the environmental loop by recycling their equipment wherever possible. Computers and CRT monitors for example can no longer be discarded indiscriminately and must now be disposed of in a way that is environmentally and ecologically friendly.

Safe disposal is even more imperative as some items of IT equipment have toxic components that could harm the atmosphere of disposed of incorrectly.

The data protection law now instructs that information on personnel computer hard drives could be confidential and must therefore be destroyed or deleted in a confidential manner.

Ummmmm...

I thought that under the WEEE regulations either the original producer or the producer of the replacement equipment had to dispose of the old kit (depending on how old it was). All new kit is replacing something else isn't it ;)
