organising music

Does anyone know of a good way of organising music? I've just been browsing through my external drive and have got a studpid amount of music on there! Now i've got a load already in my ITunes and i dont really want to bung it all in and then delete the duplicates cus that takes the michael...

 

So, shed load of MP3s...need organising....help!

it says the unstable windows version is included in winkde Index of /pub/kde/ports/win32/installer

you might be better off with wubi

What I use:

I had a similar thing, a complete mess of music, so bit by bit I've been tidying it all up with the above programs. Takes ages but you only have to do it once

 

No way do I want iTunes or any other program 'helpfully' tidying it up for me

I organise my via albums and any random mp3s that weren't ripped with albums are in mp3 folders. I use Itunes to edit all the tags for all the music.

To keep my music organized (folder structure and naming) I use iPod Access for Windows to copy back the music from my iPod. As long as the tags are good it will create the folder structure e.g. Artist>Album>Song Name
