If you do buy make sure you read the Terms and Conditions and stick to the part numbers, also if you plan to order more than 20 because of the promotion they will only accept a claim to a maximum per invoice of 20 so get your supplier to send you multiple invoices.

 

I have also looked at the RM One and I hate to say it but I am very impressed, the one thing that does worry me is their support. I got a very good quote from them which was £100 less per machine than their web site was quoting so they will do deals.

 

I have also had an 'All in One' on trial from Stone, not a bad machine but it actually worked out more expensive than the RM One!

Also when taking up HP rebate offers make sure that if the terms and conditions state that you buy from an approved reseller like the server rebate did that you do an not just buy from a HP distributor.

You also must make sure your quote has not been special bid or SMG (Schools, Medical and Government) pricing which will also make your claim invalid.

has any one come accross the RMone all in one machine. i know its RM which can very easily put people off. but these seem really good, a bit pricey but seem nice. i have a got a demo machine here and i'm quite impressed with the build quality.

 

We have about 80 running here since last summer. They are nice machines very good quality TFT, and have neat touches such as the ability to clamp all the cabling at the back and tuck behind a screwed in back plate.

They do run quite hot and as the temperature rises we have had 2 hard disk failures in the last month.

 

Overall good deal, but quite noisey if theres no air con in the room s fan has to keep kicking in. This has been rectified with the new ecoquiet version.
