Mac Displays

Hello All.

 

I am a little short on desktop space so have added a flat screen monitor to my eMac. I want to be able to turn the screen off of the eMac and just use the Flat Screen. I can't find a way to do this - any tips?

 

By the way, have installed 2GB Ram on the eMac and Leopard - it runs great!!

In the display preferences choose to mirror the screens, turn the emac around so you can see it

and turn the brightness down on the emac

On Laptops at least If you plug in the external monitor then make the mac go to sleep, when it wakes it will only use the new display.
