Whats the cheapest way to get a VGA output to an analogue TV (composite/s-video)?

 

The PC is a SFF so doesnt have any card slots

Get a cheap graphics card with an S-Video output

 

Opps, forgot. Its a SFF pc so no card slots.

You can build a VGA to SCART lead. I built one for my arcade machine so it could display the games at native resolution on the TV bypassing the encoding etc. I basically chopped the end off a vga and dismantled a scart lead and followed a wiring diagram. Fiddly but not too hard.

I've been wondering that, too. I had a look at some cheap converters on eBay - £20 seems to be about the price.

maybe this will do the trick

 

From the item description: "It will work with laptops and desktops with VGA cards that has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector.". Hmm...

This is interesting! I already have a 2m vga cable fron an old monitor also i have some spare scart cables. this is a good idea to use all these scraps! There is any schematic to do this? the link above doesn work!
