sdc Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Hi Apologies if this is a simple one and we're overlooking something obvious... but is there a way of disabling speech recognition via Group Policy? We had a student wondering why random words were appearing in their Publisher file, and discovered (after some head-scratching!) that the mic on the headset was picking up the general classroom chatter and attempting to decode it! It appears to be a per-user setting, but we can't find any way of generally disabling it. Thanks
Michael Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Modifying the registry may be an option to you. This could run at startup making the changes for you automatically. 1
