MkII Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Maybe that's what happened to Ric's sat nav on the way to the conference!!!
ChrisH Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Once I left the A 56 mine sent me round in a circle nearly twice. Being used to such occurences I had some instructions printed out as well and used them to get onto the right road then it was fine. My house is about six years old but is nowhere to be seen on the latest edition of Tom Tom :?
Ric_ Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I must admit that I had less problems with CoPilot than I have had with TomTom - TomTom doesn't even seem to know which side of the road the speed cameras are on most of the time! Next time I upgrade I will definately be going back over to CoPilot! BTW - If you insist on living in a back-water place such as Rochdale you must expect people to get lost
beeswax Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 @Ric_ don't have tomtom or copilot around here. we use christine. worked for you as well didn't it?
indiegirl Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Great, this is what I have to look forward to. My flat's only been up about 7 months in all, and I've only been in 3 months. We still have no road sign designating our street, TomTom doesn't know we exist, and Google Earth thinks my postcode's about a mile over the road, and where I do live is just a field! I hoped it'd be sorted quickly, but if I've got to wait at least 6 years for things to start appearing, I'd better get used to having to direct delivery drivers...
