Dos_Box Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I think I'm going to make this a weekly thing and attach a PDF of our Google Analytics, especially as we have yet again broken new records New members (past 7 days) = 152 (we may have to revise the competition estimate dates!) And visitor numbers according to Google: Oct 9th - 7304 Oct 10th - 6746 Oct 11th - 2741 Oct 12th - 2927 Oct 13th - 7385 Oct 14th - 7898 Oct 15th - 7929 (soooo close!) And attached is the PDF.Analytics_www.edugeek.net_20080915-20081015_(DashboardReport).pdf
sparkeh Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Wow a lot comes from search engines! What is 'bounce rate' by the way?
Dos_Box Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 Wow a lot comes from search engines! What is 'bounce rate' by the way? A bounce is when someone comes to the site, via Google say, sees it isn't what they are looking for and leaves immediately. 1
sparkeh Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Bounce rate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Interesting reading. I guess the high bounce rate is due to people coming to check if there are new posts on the main page.
fiendishlyclever Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 The number of visits to the site is what stood out for me, and the distinction between working days and weekends - it backs up the intention of the mod's/admins to create a professional/business resources. (Either that or we have a load of techies with too much free time on week days ).
Dos_Box Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 I'm actually quite glad that most people here have lives to live at the weekend!
