Need to renew LAN set up to remote building

A school I sometimes work at has a classroom which is about 200 yards from the nearest lan port. Up till now they have had an aged wireless offering a struggeling connection to this classroom. Recently electricians installing new wiring managed to drill a cable in the school which created all sorts of havoc including blowing this connection.

 

Apparently theere are no spares for the ancient wireless box so it's a replacement job on the cards or running an external cable across to the building. Any suggestions on how to achieve a good connection without compromising either safety or signal strength please folks?

Get the electricians who cocked it up to make good the cable they damaged? Many electrical installation firms also do data installs, or would be able to subcontract a data installer.

To be honest, I would replace the wireless link with either a fiber cable or a laser wireless link as both are much more reliable.
