OWA 2007 on Server 2008

I'm having a couple of issues with my transition from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2008. The latest one is that I can't get OWA 2007 to work correctly. Whenever I try and view it in IIS I get the following error 'Could not find a part of the path \\.\BackOfficeStorage\%domainname%\Public Folders'.

I'm taking thsi toi mean the IIS can't see the public folders database (which I've moved from the default to the servers E:\ (SAN) drive. Does anyone have any hints with this?

 

P.S. Yes, we do need the public folders I'm afraid.

IIS 7 takes a bit of getting used to after IIS6 doesn't it! I keep having to remind myself that everything is modular in 2008 server, if it ain't needed it isn't installed until you tell it to! The amount of time I've wasted hunting for things that haven't been installed.........

I am having the same problem. I get the error "Could not find part of the path \\.\BackOfficeStorage\domain.local\Public Folders" when I try to open/expand public folders in IIS 7. I thought I had installed all of IIS7. What did you have to install to fix the problem?

Wow, erm. This was 3 years ago, and I'm afraid I can't remember for my part what it was I did to fix the problem!
