On an RM it's rm normally unless it's been changed.

Failing that, you can unplug it from the wall, remove the cover, yoink the battery out and hold down the power button which should discharge the last of the capacitance and reinsert the battery and it should have reset.

Thanks but not even got to a stage where I could enter anything. Just shows a logo screen 'ecoquiet' then boots in to windows. Its the usual f2 etc keys I'm looking for to get to the bios screen as the logo covers the usual messages 'hit f2 to enter bios" etc messages. May have to try the battery removal if all else fails.

Just had a Google and it looks like its F2 or DEL, so I'll give those a try next time I'm in.

Tab usually reveals the standard post screen. Other BIOS entry keys are F1, F2, F10, ESC and DEL but there are some weird ones that do require a different keys again.

I have removed power cable from floppy disk drives(good old days)

Bios then halts with a message asking to continue or press .... to enter setup

got some of those the other day for our art and food tech departments and did not have any issues entering or getting into the bios using the DEL key ( not back space obviously ) had to repeatedly press it and then the screen changes from the logo to a normal post type screen where you can see what devices it has detected etc. When it gets to a password screen the bios password by default is

RM

in lower case - not sure if it works in uppercase.
