I have to be honest and say that I've not found a way to do it yet.

 

However, we only have just under a dozen machines that have the software on so it isn't a big pain here.

 

You could try running some file/registry monitoring software on one of the laptops as you activate it and see exactly what it changes (if anything).

 

If I come across a machine that needs the software reinstalling here then I'll see if I can find any way to automate it.

I think i may have it. I installed it on my build pc, ran process monitor, activated synchroneyes, searched for the product key, then exported the whole key folder, this activates the licence automatically.
