Heebeejeebee Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 (edited) It's over 4m wide, 16:9 and pumps out beautiful Hi Def BlueRay/HDDVD as well. The build cost well over 1.4m but the IT was around 150K. Its a VR setup hence the dual projectors in the back room. Stereo projection look fab in HD. So far we're still playing with it but we've got Google Earth working in 3d (via More3D) and a load of pre-loaded 3d stuff. Apart from this room and the PCs in it we've also got a Gypsy suit (motion capture) and a nice Haptic device, some Polycom video conferencing kit (around 10k), a laptop suite of 30 (hope the wireless can cope)and a couple of new IWBs.
