Request from teacher :) is there anyway to stop the 'wireless network signal strength' balloon keep popping it up. I've enabled no balloon tips in gpo but can't think how else to prevent it.

Does the user actually use wireless on their laptop?

If not, disable it in the BIOS, it works for me, i think you can also use USBDLM - USB Drive Letter Manager to manage balloon tips etc appearing. It's a few months since i last played with it though.

Not in the context of the wireless subsystem, only drives.

Is it really such an issue? It should only appear on connection...

Apparently it is an issue:mad:, I think the wireless changes strength and a balloon pops up every so often, the laptop uses wireless and is connected to the smartboard.
