New Regional Forums

Just to let all you wonderful people know, today (hopefully) we will be launching 2 new forums. These will cover the UK and New Zealand and fill the gap for local content within EduGeek. The UK forums will have a space for each Regional Broadband Consortium (RBC), unitary authority and for Scotland and Wales. This is to fill the demand for members who have requested a seperate forum for their LEAs. We couldn't do it down to that level I'm afraid as there are simply too many to make it feasable. Doing it down to RBC level still keeps it relevant and means we only have 12 RBC forums instead of 30+ LEA forums!

We also have the NZ forum launched to provide forums specific to that region (thanks Synack for giving us the list of forums you wanted).

Within the UK forums we will also be moving several existing forums such as BSF, and possibility the suppliers forums to keep things relevant for everyone.

If you are an EduGeek member from another country who would like to see some forums specific for your region please let us know what you would like and we shall do our best to see your needs filled. Please note that the local forums should not contain any subjects already covered in our top level forums such as Technical.

I hope these new forums prove popular and will provide our members to talk about local issues in a more organised and easier to reference way.

P.S. If you are from an RBC and wish to moderate your own RBC forum please PM me, as we at EduGeek think it would be a good idea for you to run these as a facility for yourselves to get information out to your users\customers and to publicise any cool things you might be doing.
