Insurence for pupil/teacher laptops

Just wondering what people do for insuring teachers/pupil laptops for home use. Do you get an extra policy or do you ammend the current school policy?

Teachers have to add the laptop to their home/car insurance if its not covered already.

Teacher laptops are on our school insurance... unfortunately they is a £300 excess so we never use it for laptops.

 

Teachers are told that laptops left in an unattended car are their responsibility and not included on the school insurance.

 

We have a student lease scheme for our laptops with payments over 22 months, but I include seperate 3 year warranty and insurance with them through a leasing company.
