3rd / 4th Line IT Support

Good morning everyone,

 

Just wondering if any schools work with any 3rd party IT support companies to get support from them. Such as a yearly contract for 3rd / 4th line support for your IT team to lean on if they are unsure of anything?

I would be interested if anyone has any recommendations of companies.

Rough location might be good.  When I was down Kent way ADM were fantastic.  We paid an annual fee, just in case, but that could be redeemed for checks or services at the end of the year if we hadn't broken anything. It was great for when something when horribly wrong at a weekend, even though we didn't have to use them, having them contact us to say their engineer was on standby if we needed was a great comfort.  They were also great to escalate issues to, such was wierd MS server issues or networking configs, that were beyond us or to get it off our plates if we were snowed under.

I am in Kent as well, I use DMS (Design and Management Systems) for a similar thing

Used to work for ED-UK Technologies, had this sort of arrangement with a number of schools for third line / escalation.
