Veeam Backup and Replication Tape backup issues

I have a weird one for you all.

Using an LTO drive on a remote agent machine.

 

Installed media, ran inventory, found it was a used tape from other software so marked it as free. When that had finished I went into the properties of the tape to label it and also move it into a Media Pool.

 

I have a backup job that takes mirrored data and creates a full backup to the tape, the issue is when the job starts on its schedule it hangs, create a brand new tape with a new id and sits in an unidentified media pool hanging the backup.

If I then move that newly created tape into the selected media pool the job then continues.

 

Why would it create brand new media when I have already ran an inventory, it has identified the tape and I have set it to the correct media pool.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this??
