Bromcom : Report Question

Evening All - LEA help are shut at this time (but I'm still working!) - can anyone recommend a report in Bromcom that lists:

 

1. Parents who have downloaded the MCAS application or have accessed MCAS (either via Web or App) - also the last time they logged in?

2. Same for students with the Student Portal app - and the last time they logged in

 

Headteacher has asked for these reports with the Name, Form class etc all in there. 

 

Maybe someone could expert a report definition and send it over? All before I start looking into it tomorrow.

Hi Gareth

 

For last access you can see this via Modules -> MCAS -> Overview. You'll get name of parent, email address and last login time with a number of filters (e.g. it defaults to the last week). You can also see a list of app installs on the same screen. Same thing for students (minus the app install) -> Modules -> Student Portal -> Overview

 

All this info is exportable via excel.

 

You'll then need to match parents with students to get your breakdown.

 

There is also an option to look at inactive users (both parents and students) if you need to target those who aren't logging in.

Hi @Devaleth - thanks. I found this one last night, but it doesn't tell me which pupil they belong to. I could click on each one to see, but that would take ages.

Have you tried Reports>MCAS>Accounts Activity Report?

For us, it mostly just shows logins from parent accounts, but it does show the linked student.

If you need a bit more you could also do a quick report with student details + contact email addresses and match with the overview exports? Would take about 5 minutes max using a vlookup?
