Appstore - Cannot sign out of managed apple IDs

Hi all,

Students should be able to switch to their personal Apple ID to download personal apps. This was working previously using the following steps:
App Store > profile icon > Account

At this point, they now see the message:
“This feature is not available with the Apple account you are currently using.”

This functionality seems to be allowed in our school. I’ve checked both Jamf school and Apple School Manager settings, and everything appears to be configured correctly.

Current settings for apple school manager:

Apple Account on organisation devices: set to Any account
Allow Managed Apple Account on > is set to any device

 

 

If anyone has seen this before or has suggestions, please let me know. I attached the screenshots for the settings.

Apple have been age checking Apple accounts recently. Could it be related to that?

Can you try and sign out of the iPad completely from the settings menu?
