Sony Interactive Entertainment will no longer release its big single-player titles on PC, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Studio Business Group CEO Hermen Hulst said in a company town hall today, via Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier.

The confirmation follows a Bloomberg report from March, in which sources claimed titles like Ghost of Yotei and Saros will remain exclusive to PlayStation 5 going forward, while online games such as Marathon and MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls will still be made available on PC...

PS5 Pro sales not doing as expected, perhaps?

Ultimately, if you release your console exclusives on PC, people will just get a gaming PC or a Steam Deck/ROG Ally/etc. and get a wider selection of games.

Historically, the quoted reason keeps being that PC sales don't make it worth it.

I wonder if it's more to do with MS saying that the next xbox will play steam games.

Either way, sad that I'll probably have to get a PS6 if I want to play Horizon 3 and Spiderman 3.

I really think that was a HUGE factor in it.
