Wirral_Wonderer Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I have just started at a school as data manager and asked the IT Team for a SIMS ID login for the Parent App. However they tell me they don't have access either, nor do SBS who support SIMS in the school. The school's SIMS is on-premise and have MS365 and GoogleClassroom, I think they are migrating over to MS365 and I think the Network Manager is also new. I remember setting up SIMS ID when the parent app first came out in a previous school when I was Network manager, and I remember messing round in MS365 and setting up the tennant (along with a lot of swearing!), but that was a loooooong time ago. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction so I can help my IT Team? Cheers
bobsmith Posted May 18 Posted May 18 If SBS can't raise a case with ESS then can you still do it directly? You can go through your SIMS account manager if there is no one in school with credentials.
coolhands Posted May 18 Posted May 18 This may not help in anyway but this is the website http://id.sims.co.uk to see if you can log into it and get anywhere? I always find it very bizarre, I have a username which will be eg... [email protected] and password but I think I have to log in using 'google' so you may need to experiment. It's always tricky and whichever one you use it will demand the other
