kennysarmy Posted May 8 Posted May 8 We have a hybrid Windows system with the majority of users working on site. Anyone who wishes to change their password can do so by the common CTRL+ALT+DEL method. Students who forget their passwords can have them reset by teachers. Staff who forget their passwords contact the IT team and we change it in AD and force a change to something else at first logon. School governors are setup with AD accounts but they never come in to school, what additional Microsoft licence do these accounts require so they can change and reset lost passwords remotely and without needing to contact IT Support?
Scifigirl Posted May 8 Posted May 8 We set our Governors with cloud only accounts- not hybrid, as they don't need to log onto a computer. We are a hybrid school too 1
Steve21 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 (edited) Entra P1 (or A3 etc) is required for SSPR and/or write back via connect/sync if hybrd Steve Edited May 8 by Steve21 1
kennysarmy Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 Governors have the following licences: Microsoft 365 Apps for Faculty, Office 365 A3 for Faculty.
Steve21 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 It’s M365 A3 which includes it, O365 A3 won’t so you’d need to add it on as an additional to officially license the self service etc (P2 would be better if you want to start doing MFA and conditional access etc) Steve 1
