Cabot Learning Federation are hiring a Cyber Security Officer!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their cyber security career in a hands‑on role with trust‑wide impact.

You’ll help protect our digital systems across multiple academies, work with a supportive central IT team and play a key part in keeping staff and students safe online.

📍 Bristol (Digitech Studio School as the main base) with regular travel to other academies as needed. Outside of these on-site responsibilities, the role offers flexibility to work remotely, supporting a balanced and adaptable working arrangement.

Suitable for someone in Cornwall? - asking for a friend 😆

If your friend does not mind the commute from Cornwall, then absolutely!

 

Realistically, the role will need an on‑site presence at first while they get to know the systems, academies and people. As they settle in and grow into the position, hybrid working becomes much more practical, but there will still be an expectation to be on site at least two to three days a week.

 

So yes…technically suitable. Practically…only if your "friend" really loves the A30 and M5.
