Anyone got any use out of the Bromcom AI bot?  Tried it and it couldn't find anything other than the pre populated questions it suggests as a test.

Shouldn't have to do any more setup surely as the whole point of the bot is it helps me find a solution but just gives an old school error if asked the wrong question.

Thing is is didn't upload a report.  I just clicked the AI bot button in the new quick report wizard.

Ignore me.  Once i added the correct columns to the report then the AI had access the the data and could do some calculations (mainly) on it.  Good for doing statistics from a prompt.

Our LEA has it turned off until their Legal/Compliance department have looked more into it. I think that's what they said.

Your LEA might find this Help Centre article about the processing behind the scenes for each of the AI bots in Bromcom.
https://docs.bromcom.com/knowledge-base/bromcom-ai-data-processing/
The AI Data Bot uses an Azure AI end point so all AI processing happens in Microsoft servers under Bromcom's control.

Yeah, I saw that.  hopefully they'll implement it correctly as the initial start where you have to select columns is fairly confusing to most users.

Also not sure if there will be access to attendance data in this update as that's where most of our reporting needs are.

Be nice if the AI spat out a re-usable quick report rather than having to chat with it each time as most schools will run the same report regularly.  Anything that takes out the steep learning curve of just using Bromcom day to day would help too.

@Alis_Klar That, the spitting out of the re-usable quick report, is a major element of the new development.
It isn't just designed to make the choices easier but also to provide you with a re-usable end result.
