altecsole Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Good morning. Is anybody else having issues signing in to Microsoft services with Securly as the web filter and linked to Azure for sign-in.
Extinction Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Yes - we are seeing significant issues with Securly across our trust.
PrimaryNetMan Posted January 30 Posted January 30 No, use Google auth, but is proper broken this morning. Come in to find poor performance, sites that worked yesterday now being blocked and the admin console just gives 502 Bad Gateway error.
Katy Posted January 30 Posted January 30 All pages (not just Microsoft) take a long time to load, at which point they either sort-of load or go 504 Gateway Timeout. Blocked sites are still blocked, but the block page either takes ages to load or 504 Gateway Timeout. SharePoint appears to work but then all the page content besides the static header/menu just never loads. The admin interface... 504 gateway timeout. It's a very fun morning to come in to after a late night at the school musical and glad it's only been deployed on 75 devices at the moment, but not a good look to a new customer such as ourselves
Katy Posted January 30 Posted January 30 They have finally updated the status page Securly System Status pointing the blame at AWS
msm1000 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Also having issues, logged a ticket earlier this morning but no reply yet. PrimaryNetMan Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) They have finally updated their status page. https://status.securly.com/ "AWS reliability issues are affecting most Securly services and APIs resulting in partial service disruption. 6Foot3 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) Is Securly any good? Currently using Netsweeper provided by our broadband but it's not great. We're a Microsoft School. Students use Windows computers and Apple iPads. Edited January 30 by alordcharlie
StephenPink Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Thanks everyone - also issues here across all sites. Taken a while to pinpoint exactly so this is helpful! Cheers
StephenPink Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Looks like a step closer to being fixed - we're just testing now;
PrimaryNetMan Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Can now access the console again. Hopefully the deluge of Chromebook native apps being blocked is being fixed too!

TronXP Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Can get in admin, but still some sites appear to be in wrong categories! so still an influx of emails saying websites are being blocked.

Same - Things like Splashtop and ClassDojo are showing as network misuse and are being blocked.
StephenPink Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Yeah still doesn't seem 100% for us... mostly the Windows network icon reporting "action needed" and struggling to sign in to Microsoft services
altecsole Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Things do seem to be improving, but users still reporting problems signing in to Microsoft services. Edge sync not working with a HTTP 414 error when trying to sign in. Some instance of Outlook Web App refusing to load.
PrimaryNetMan Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Yeh lots of IT related sites now being classified as Anonymous proxies, Action1, Keeper, Zoho etc. DSL asked if I was alright 🤣
altecsole Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 We're still getting errors on Microsoft sign-in - Teams desktop app just gives this: Also, unable to sign in to the Securly Filter dashboard, just repeatedly asks me to sign-in, then fails.
George5745 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Can access the Filter Dashboard fine but seems like categories are still completely wrong. I've logged a support call with Securly so hopefully they can shed some light.
altecsole Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 More sites now failing and Windows is reporting no Internet: It looks like it's getting worse!
StephenPink Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Yep seems to have gotten worse again for us too. D'oh.
