How to Convert Whole Webpage to PDF

Hi

 

I have a medical report from a website in Chrome which involves Drop Down menus with text in it

 

Would like everything I am seeing to Save As PDF

 

However, when - Print - Save As PDF is chosen  - it only saves the front page and no Drop Down Text that was visible

 

If I highlight all the text and choose Copy - and then paste it into Word - all the formatting disappears

 

Is there a way of saving all the pages of website page as one file with all the drop down text visible as I am seeing on the actual website ?

This is a bit like trying to print a video - you’re taking something interactive and trying to get a snapshot of it. Other than grabbing the source and manipulating it (could be tricky with javascript elements) I think you just have to screenshot it, adding each menu as you open it as layer in your image editor.

Yep GoFullPage is amazing, I use it all the time

Extensions are not necessarily required.

 

Chrome has a native screenshot utility that can capture the entire page. Hidden away in Developer tools (Ctrl + Shift I) > Run Command (Ctrl + Shift + P) > Capture full size screenshot.

 

Firefox also has a native full-page screenshot utility (right-click on the page > Take Screenshot).

If you can use Safari instead of Chrome its easy, on an iPad or iPhone out take a screenshot and immediately tap the thumbnail, selecting the "Full Page" tab at the top to save it as a PDF in Files or Photos. Or if you have access to a Mac, just click Safari -> Export as PDF.
