Sheridan Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Is there any actual way to speak to a human about fixing issues with BT CV? Their website is simply a runaround to make sure you don't contact them but we have a couple of things not working correctly and its probably just settings that need changing, but there appears to be no actual helpline or chat facility? The chat facility is simply geared for billing/change of address etc, not just a good old fashioned 'how do I..' type of query!
Davit2005 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 They removed contact numbers even when you have a business account. Jut get on the chat, speak to billing and tell them you are thinking about cancelling due to technical issues. They were charging me for 2 years for CVE when I asked to have it removed. They started saying that I'd need to pay a charge to leave after those 2 years, I eventually got 2 years of refund for the service after pointing out that I asked for it to be removed and for 3 bills it was but then put back on the bill.
Sheridan Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 The chat seems useless, as it doesn't allow for any deviation from 5 options (billing, moving house etc) and there's no option to chat to an advisor. They have been a nightmare so cancelling is on the cards at renewal! 1
mridgway Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Hi Sheridan, Have you tried the chat on this page https://business.bt.com/help/home/ I understand your frustrations, as with us, it takes far too long to get anything resolved as there is a struggle to get the issue to the relevant person. Mark
TechMonkey Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Who did you purchase it through? Have you tried your local BT Business team?

Yes, not much luck in getting reply either. Its nigh on impossible getting through their monolithic systems, which I guess is why they do it
TechMonkey Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Just to confirm, and to correct myself, you've tried BT Local Business (BT Local Business | BT Business)? These are normally independent companies, licensed by BT to sell BT products and have better connections into BT.
john316 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I started with 08003890598 who got me transferred to the BT Cloud Voice technical support line. 1
Dipl0 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I spent an hour on hold being passed around teams. We've decided to sack off BT Cloud Voice and are now moving to 3CX. The cost was hugely cheaper and BT Support was non-existent. Not to mention the fact I got absolutely harassed by a 3rd party vendor trying to renew me despite already having an account manager, I'm talking 6 calls a day multiple to my mobile. Nice to know BT shared my personal mobile (which they forced me to add to access the admin portal) with 3rd party sales companies. 1
