Hi I have a random question. I have taken over as attendance officer. I need to be better at logging my evidence so I contact parents they don’t answer then an hour can go by and they ring. I don’t update it on sims because I’m so busy or getting ready for my home visits and the office have taken the message and let me know I don’t need to attend.  We had the heatwave for example last week and I couldn’t get them all done. Can I go back and log comments on SIMs will it show anywhere I did it after the fact? I don’t want it to look disingenuous. Also I’ve never had ofsted when working attendance but we are due. What will they look for. Do they just pull a child’s chronology or do they pull a full audit looking for edits etc because if they do then I won’t go back and add in that the parent did message or rang as they might question why it’s after the fact and although I can explain I don’t want it open to interpretation.  We had around 200 last week because of the heat so you can imagine the pressure I was under

Heads up Bromcom is going to get a lot of load this year as all NI schools move to it.
