River Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Hi, We have had some PCs restart when they shouldn't have, and it looks to be KB5074109 as a quick google shows it has caused other issues such as slowness and the favourite BSOD! If you can, I would avoid this update River 1
sigma Posted January 15 Posted January 15 That's the Win 11 26-01 Cumulative Update. These updates have been of such poor quality lately that I've missed out some months as the risk of installing them is greater than the risk of not. 1
Jobos Posted January 15 Posted January 15 There are many reports of problems with this update but that said I installed it yesterday on a test machine and it was fine.
River Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 It causes no problems on some PCs, reboots in the middle of working on others and slowness until rebooted on others for us
Space_Munkey Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Out of interest, those of you who saw / see the issues - does it perform okay after the reboot? Edited January 16 by Space_Munkey
River Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 Haven't had any problems after the reboot - just the annoyance of unexpectedly rebooting!
