ITGURU Posted November 26, 2025 Posted November 26, 2025 Hi. I'm looking for contacts who have migrated/consolidated their 365 Tenants into a new tenant. Microsoft are denying me education verification on a new tenant because our sites/organisation already have a tenant. Seems to be impossible to get a straight forward answer, so wondering how other schools/trusts have managed to setup a new 365 tenant and carry out the migrations? Any help/advice would be appreciated. thanks.

gumbygaz Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 We spoke to Adrian at AspiraCloud (Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions) and he setup our central Tenant for us initally, we then worked with them for all the migrations of the schools. Recommend them, obviously cost for that aspect . However, AspiraCloud we really helpful I'd imagine they'd point you in a right direction either way.

HI @gumbygaz we are looking into migrating 6 x of our O365 tenants onto one single Trust tenant, and wondered how things are going well and if you still recommend Aspira Cloud? we are also looking for someone to take charge and manage the project for the trust. Thanks in advance.
gumbygaz Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Sorry only just saw this notification @armadillo Yes all going well still, Aspira Cloud were great from all aspects. We've not needed them from a support point of view after, all ticking along and easier now to support all the schools. Certainly a number of challenges to prepare for, Global Address book, machines (and mobile phones) hanging onto the old tenancy details. You'll go slightly mad trying to remove the onmicrosoft.com e-mail address that will pop up after migration. But the actual copy of mailboxes, onedrives etc was fairly painless and the switchover well communicated and plenty of meetings with the team to make sure your ready for the switch.

Thanks @gumbygaz for your reply. I have more questions and if you don't mind if I PM you? 1
