Postmortem https://blog.cloudflare.com/18-november-2025-outage/

TLDR (Gemini):

On November 18, 2025, Cloudflare suffered a global outage triggered by a ClickHouse permissions update that inadvertently exposed underlying shard-local tables to metadata queries. This caused a Bot Management configuration file to duplicate rows and exceed the core proxy’s hardcoded 200-feature limit, triggering a fatal Rust panic (Result::unwrap()) in the FL2 engine. The resulting panic loop caused widespread 5xx errors until the malformed file was manually rolled back and the proxy restarted.
