Olliedawg Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Doing a SAR which requires me to search all mailboxes, for a certain name. This has returned a export totalling 1.5GB in size. Upon opening the .pst there are a lot of duplicates, which look to be emails sent to distribution lists. Is there a way I can easily remove duplicates? There used to be a de-dupe feature in content search, but it seems to have gone... we are on A1 licencing with P1 entra add on.
clangstaffnhts Posted January 27 Posted January 27 @Olliedawg did you manage to find a solution to this? We're having a similar issue with 2500 emails to sort through!
leegcvcc Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Firstly, 1.5gb and 2,500 emails are nothing! Going through a 22gb SAR and a 10GB SAR at the moment so count your blessings! Seems the Dedupe function is a Premium version these days from what I can see. (I haven't looked at pricing/Licensing to become a Premium member though) I usually sort the emails into Sender/From and then block delete there. Painful and hoping someone here has a solution to make my life easier in some degree.

pete Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Buy an A5 license, assign it to the person pulling the searches. It's cheaper than wasting the time going through duplicates.
