BucksITguy Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 Hi All, I am trying to find a simple (and reasonably priced) digital signage player to use alongside Planet Estream. Is there anyone out there using the same software that has purchased some recently? The ones we have onsite seem to not be available anymore. Thanks
msi_school Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 We use Bee Link mini PCs these are the same as the ones eStream sell you but with out the mark up. Most of ours are Intel N100 chips which do the job but next time I am going to look at sothing a little faster as they can take a while to boot and open the player. If I had to buy one today I would probably go with this one 1
flipthebit Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 We use Yodeck with RaspberryPi. I don't think they'll work with Planet Estream though. 1
MartinByard Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 We use Planet eStream, and you can get a linux version of the signage player that will run on Raspberry Pi's quickstart guide here. 1
thimon Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 Last device I bought direct from Planet eStream… instantly installing ChromeOS Flex on it! 😀 1
