Are your controllers not wired through relays to release them? Indeed they are! Unfortunately it didn’t cross my mind! Storing that one for future use! If I had a brain I’d be dangerous! Locally hosted. The controllers bug out sometimes and need a restart, the main software has bugs which cause it to crash, and some settings (like IPv4 on the intercom units, and DHCP on the controllers) will cause chaos. I like the Salamander integration (our new users just appear!) I’m curious are you saying that your Paxton software is buggy? I’d like to help you with that and understand more about your IPv4 issues.

Usually when I need to do something quickly! the IPv4 issue is with the intercom units. If we don’t disable IPv4 on them, they will frequently crash and reboot. Learned about this from colleagues at other schools. i disable IPv4 in the intercom management software when I do an upgrade, then they work fine.

I've never used the intercoms with Net2 but I have seen the software crash randomly without the end user knowing. We were sent a slightly newer version of Net2 and it seemed to fix the issue so maybe go down that route if you can.
3s-gtech Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I'm on 6.9.15225.3956 - not an old version by any means. I see 7.0.0.16203 is out.
