404_WolfNotFound Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 (edited) Hi all, I need to select a python IDE for use with GCSE and A Level (BTech Level 1/2). We are a cloud based OneDrive site running windows 10. What software/IDE does every one recommend? Edited September 22, 2025 by adm_cg

I have had nothing but problems with System Interpreter constantly breaking and needing to be set up. We are now trying to push away from PyCharm since it requires constant attention from me during lessons to maintain functionality.

I have tried to get them to try Thonny, I may push for it again since it did look quite nice. Question can this be used for multiple file projects? I ask because whilst I am a hobbyist programmer the one language I do not touch is python. Edited September 22, 2025 by adm_cg
