Unifi Guest Network Landing Page Not Redirecting

Using Unifi with a Sophos XG router and in the middle of setting up the guest network but having trouble getting the landing page to appear.

 

I first tested the network by having the hotspot set to off and using a password. This worked, clients got the correct IP and the filter worked correctly. I have now set Unifi to use the captive portal and to use vouchers but although clients are still getting the correct IP the captive portal landing page is not appearing.

 

Any tips?

What version of Network are you on?

There have been a lot of guest portal issues with some of the builds.

I had the guest network working properly for years, but a change of filter destroyed that. Never got to the bottom of it as the filter logs didn't show anything being blocked.

9.4.19 so quite new.

Funnily enough we've been having a similar issue though I assumed that was an expired SSL cert that I've been struggling to apply to the hotspot and not filtering. Following 😁

I didn't realize but had autoupdate enabled on the Unifi console and it seems a lot of people are having problems with this version.

Yeah I would never have auto update on with Unifi, I mean their stuff is keenly priced but the amount of times known bugs exist in versions and they push it to RC/Live regardless is crazy, often there is no Known Issues section on the changelogs as well.

I see Unifi have released version 10.0.160 https://community.ui.com/releases/ce7adc5c-4b42-49d3-8447-971992c0bced has anyone tried it yet and did it resolve the captive portal issue?
