When using the Bromcom ideas portal, is it better to...

A: Upvote the 20 other posts for this idea?

B: Make post 21 for the idea?

C : Do both?

D : Just scream the idea into the void?

Sorry i'm confused..... is this for new features, bugs that need fixing, or features that doesn't exist that absolutely should from the get go............

 

I'm still doing csv export imports for creating student portal accounts as we use SSO........ would be nice if there was a button on the student profile....... "click to create Student portal account" and then a batch option for year 7 intake.....

 

"create accounts for student profiles without portal accounts"

Mostly request new features. The Bromcom Ideas Portal (https://ideas.bromcomcloud.com/) allows users to post ideas. Then other users can upvote those ideas, with the suggestion that Bromcom might add the feature to their roadmap if it's popular enough.

Having posted a good few ideas on there, I'd go with Option D.

Most get thrown into the void by Bromcom themself after a few months.

 

Even simple stuff like:

"Medical info isn't included in your emergency pupil report" - Deleted.

"Student Blood type is available in the Teacher app, but not date of birth" - Deleted

If it's like Microsoft's old uservoice, it's where suggestions go to die.

Worthless, but an easy out for support to point people at.
