The University of Cambridge’s Selwyn and Robinson Colleges needed a solution that could meet the demands of a growing student and staff community, while preserving their heritage buildings. Tasked with a switching refresh of both core and edge cabinets, we worked in tandem with the University of Cambridge to provide a seamlessly-deployed switch network for both colleges.

With TP-Link Omada, they now enjoy:
✔️ Reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi across campus
✔️ Scalable, cloud-managed networks
✔️ A future-ready solution to support education and research

💬 "I would absolutely recommend Omada by TP-Link's switches to anyone. It's a powerful and cost-effective solution. When my colleagues talk about the features of their solutions from high-profile brands, I know that we have everything they do and more, without their annual costs and licence fees."
- Dave Johnstone, IT Manager, Robinson and Selwyn Colleges

I've been looking at Omada and others for an upgrade to my home / office setup. Is there any commitment from TP-Link of lifecycle of devices and supply of firmware updates?

Hi Steve!

Yes, Omada hardware is supported with a limited lifetime warranty on our products. Software wise, we provide support for 12 months after initial release for the latest software version, with firmware updates available & 7-year CVE / Security updates from when the product is EOL, or software version has reached its end of development. Firmware updates can be scheduled to avoid network downtime also.
